Why go Skiing in Meribel?

When we're talking Meribel skiing, we're essentially thinking of skiing in the Trois Vallees, which includes Meribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, La Tania and with its new lift linking into the main 3 Valleys circuit, Orelle. Meribel is arguably the most 'British' of these resorts, with attractive chalets and apartments, and plenty going on for both adults and children - so great for family ski holidays.

Meribel is situated at the centre of the Three Valleys, flanked on one side by the resorts of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1850 and La Tania, and on the other side by Les Menuires and Val Thorens, which is the highest resort in the French Alps. Meribel itself is divided into three parts, Meribel Village and Meribel at around 1400m, and Meribel-Mottaret higher up at 1750m.
